Have you lost your desire to follow the Lord?
What can bring it back?
No one and nothing else but God, Himself.
On our own, we do not have a natural desire to pursue Him. But because of Christ living in us, we now thirst and yearn for God.
It is He who initiates.
We only respond.
If you should ever lose your willingness to follow Him, all you have to do is look to Him and cry out to Him to restore that desire.
You can also seek God to bring back the passion of those who are wandering. If others are no longer pursuing Him, it is not your job to rekindle their flame or convince them to run the race, but the Lord’s.
The best thing one can do is to humbly appeal to the Lord. For He is willing and able to transform a heart of stone into a heart of flesh.
“God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.” -Philippians 2:13 CEV
